Off-Road AGM Group 34 Battery Wrangler JK/JKU/JL/JLU and Jeep Gladiator
Review Optima Yellow Top D34/78
The perfect battery that fits most dual battery trays and double clamp trays (Rugged Ridge, M.O.R.E., Genesis, etc.)
The Yellow Top is everywhere in Canada and USA and very popular among week-end wheelers. But Jeepers into long-distance solo expeditions or those working in remote areas normally prefer other brands like Odyssey, Northstar, or ACDelco.
It's highly shock and vibration resistant and not only off-roaders like that battery but also drag racing vehicle owners.

*Dual Purpose = Combines both for starting (high cranking power) and deep cycling (use accessories while the engine is off). It also maintains the charge of the battery for a longer period of time. It's 2 batteries in 1. |

- The cranking power is not as massive as the Odyssey 34R PC1500T (870A for the Optima compared to 1500A for the Odyssey), but it's powerful enough to start the engine of any 1/2-ton pickup truck in cold weather. Spiral winding for the plates and tubes makes that battery highly resistant to constant vibrations. It's also a genuine dual purpose battery made to power several accessories (winch, cb radio, off-road light bars, etc.) at the same time while the engine is off. Self-discharging is at least 50% slower compared to budget car batteries like EverStart Maxx, Lucas, Volta, Amaron, Centennial, Super Charge, Raylite, Apollo Power, DieHard Gold (Regular Lead-Acid), or even the Costco Interstate (AGM).
